Methodology
The problems of business come down
to the problems of individuals.
Therefore, achieving success as an
organization must start with
enabling the
individuals within
it to succeed in their jobs, that
is, to find personal satisfaction and
fulfillment in their work. When this
occurs, they become students of their job, always
looking for, and finding, better
ways to do it.
That's why we place a great deal of
emphasis on
developing the individual. In
essence, our approach is to first
connect people with themselves -- to
help them develop a new awareness of
their talents, interests, desires,
and capabilities. Using this
information, we then lead them
through a learning process
that helps them find meaningful
connections with their job, the organization, and beyond
that, their entire life.
While we employ a variety of tools
and techniques in this process, the
following are key elements of our
methodology.
Preference
Inventories
These proprietary survey instruments
are the first and only tools of
their type. The
Personal
Preference Inventory
reveals how each person naturally
prefers to process information in
any form. It identifies the unique
pattern an individual will
autonomously follow in seeking input
at any point in any exchange. Just
as important, it reveals the type of
input that person will typically
wait (and wait, and wait …) for
someone else to provide. By
utilizing these subconscious
dynamics and by bringing potential
learning blocks to practical surface
awareness, individual development
and performance can be greatly
enhanced.
Other similar instruments are used
to reveal and analyze the subtle,
often-unsuspected dynamics of a
particular job and of the
organization itself and to correlate
them with individual preferences.
Pacing
Pacing integrates the information
revealed by the surveys into the
workplace. It is a process of
learning, teaching and mentoring
that produces continuous improvement
in job effectiveness and
satisfaction, output quality, and
self-value for personnel at all
levels -- from the CEO down. In
fact, Pacing is most
effective when it starts at the CEO level.
Specifically, Pacing will benefit
your organization by:
-
Focusing participants on
producing products and services
that offer a clearly better fit
to current and
emerging markets.
-
Directly involving participants
in the creation of quality and
value.
-
Supporting day-to-day
improvements in operations,
identifying and stabilizing what
works well, and smoothly
integrating updates and changes.
